Omron HJ-303 GoSmart Tri-Axis Pocket Pedometer Review

I’ve been using this device for two weeks now and I’m very happy with it. At first I encountered the time bug which either resets your time or makes it jump several hours.

I finally found the cause. I’ve been keeping my Omron in the same pocket as my mobile phone and it seemed to be affecting it somehow.

I moved it to the other pocket and it’s been running without problems ever since.

It’s very small (much smaller than I expected) and light and does the job very well.

Highly recommended!

Omron Pocket Pedometer PC Version Review

This is my third pedometer (actually the second one of this model). After reading this article:[....], I wanted to keep track of my steps, and lose a few pounds in the process. I gave my old pedometer away, and bought one I could use to upload and graph data. Since I already owned the Omron BP monitor that interfaces with the same product, I was thrilled that I could track my blood pressure alongside my steps. This pedometer is so incredibly accurate compared to the old one. It maps calories burned and aerobic steps as well. The software lets you set goals and graphs show you how well you did meeting your goals.

Unfortunately, like other reviewers have mentioned, it does fall off, and absolutely needs to be used with the safety clip. When I lost my first one, I couldn’t find another that I would prefer after talking to fellow techie fitness geeks. Several of my friends also have one and we “compete.” So now my daily step count continually rises in my competition. I find myself parking very far away from grocery stores so I can accumulate more steps.

The main reason I wanted to write this review was because I accidentally ran it through a “super wash” cycle in my washing machine yesterday. Although it didn’t appear damaged, it stopped counting steps midway through the day today. I unscrewed the front, dried it with a Q-tip and it works perfectly again!! Amazing!

Omron HJ-720 Pocket Pedometer with Advanced Omron Health Management Software Review

This pedometer is fantastic–I’ve tried numerous other brands, and some considerably more costly. This one is accurate, downloads for great data to check personal progress, etc. Warning: it says to not submerge this pedometer–and I knew that–but jumped off the pool deck in a moment on “non-thought” into the water (I lead fitness classes). Sure enough, I was online ordering my replacement pedometer the same afternoon. I even ordered one to use as a “demo” for my class participants. It is now my fave fitness “gadget” for holiday gifts, etc.

Omron HJ-112 Digital Pocket Pedometer Review

My wife and I are totally thrilled with our Omron HJ-112 Digital Pocket Pedometer! We’ve given one to our friends on several occasions, and many in our exercise classes wear an HJ-112 during the time we are on our spinning bicycles! These are great for people in various degrees of rehabilitation, too, where walking is prescribed. Case in point: A relative of ours just had open heart surgery; he now proudly wears his pedometer every day…and is amazed how it motivates him to really enjoy walking!!! I am a backpacker, and I wear my pedometer on all my trips. It’s amazing how accurate this nifty electronic device is; and it’s nice knowing how far I’ve hiked to my lake-destination!!!
