MSI U135-205US 10-Inch Black Netbook – 7.5 Hour Battery Life Review

I purchased a U120 for myself but my wife took it over. I purchased a U135 as a replacement. My only disappointment was the reflective screen. I upgraded Windows 7 to the Pro level without problem. Battery life is good!. The only issue is that my Yahoo email server complains that it needs 1024 x 768 resolution for optimum performance, but I see no problems with this.

ASUS K50IJ-X8 15.6-Inch Versatile Entertainment Laptop (Black) Review

I’ve owned this computer for a little over 4 months and have very little to complain about. i will say this is my first laptop.i wanted a mac but just didn’t have the extra 1000 and didn’t feel like financing a luxury item.Most everything is great. it starts up extremely fast, the display is great, battery life is above average considering the specs and coming from Vista… Windows 7 is amazing. one thing that people should realize about this computer is it has a one-year accidental warranty which i think is worth at least an extra -0. the only complaint(s) i have are; i continue to pop open the cd/dvd drive accidentally, the speaker isn’t great-it’s clear but not loud- and i continue to hit the cap locks key while typing. none of these things prevented me from loving the computer but all are worth noting. i paid under 600 and considered it a steal based on my comparisons.

ASUS UL30A-A2 Thin and Light 13-3-Inch Silver Laptop – 12 Hours of Battery Life (Windows 7 Home Premium) Review

I have owned this laptop for 5 months now and I love it. It is small and light enough to make it enjoyable to carry around and use wherever you want. The battery really does last 12 hours, more or less depending on what you are using it for, I don’t time how long it lasts but I use it everyday and only have to plug it in once or twice a week. It has a nice customizable power savings plan that makes it easy to set up profiles for your different needs. The touchpad is very responsive and the multitouch features work well. It can play HD videos and output them over the HDMI output to a TV with no problem keeping up. Even with the processing power restricted to save power it easily can handle multiple browser pages, music playing, office documents open, and still blaze through all the aesthetically pleasing features of Windows 7 to switch between open programs. I highly recommend this laptop to anyone who wants an ultra portable that can still handle more intensive operations when needed.

ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1005PE-MU17-WT 10.1-Inch White Netbook (Up to 11 Hours of Battery Life) Review

I have used this Netbook for about a month now and I can say that this has been the greatest computer purchase ever. I bought this because I am a college student and I have been stuck with a desktop computer sitting in my dorm room. It was very inconvenient to write notes or even go to the library between classes just to check your emails and stuff. After purchasing this netbook, I can carry it around in my
backpack without worrying about the weight and use it everywhere I go. I use this netbook to check email, surf the web, take notes during class, Skype, write essays, etc. I would highly recommend this Asus netbook to any college students who are looking for an affordable portable netbook. For far I haven’t had a problem with it. Battery life is very good. I can last the whole day on a single charge. The screen is a glossy, but it’s not a huge issue. With this purchase, I also purchased the mCover
hard cover for it and it looks very cute. The white makes it look very sleek and clean and since the screen is bordered with black, it gives it a very nice
sophisticated look since if it was all white, it could’ve looked very toy-ish.
The typing is great on this little thing. I got used to typing on it in about a day. I would recommend getting a keyboard cover since little dusts are visible.
I love this Netbook and I am very satisfied with this purchase, especially from Amazon ! (: 5 stars !!

I bought this ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1005PE-PU17-BK 10.1Inch Black Netbook (Up to 14 Hours of Battery Life). I followed all the directions on charging the battery. I even exercised the battery and the most I can get it to stay charged is 6-8 hours. I love this netbook, but I paid more for it because the battery was suppose to last up to 14 hours, but it doesn’t even come close. I should have gotten a little cheaper one, and it probably would’ve lasted just as long.

Asus Eee PC 1005HA-PU17-BK 10.1-Inch Intel Atom Netbook Computer (Crystal Black) Review

I purchased this netbook for my wife for her birthday. She is big user of Facebook and email and would have to fire up our large HP desktop computer and stay there to keep updated before she got this netbook. Now she can surf all day long with this netbook anywhere in the house! She absolutely loves it (I was worried at first since she doesn’t normally like tech gifts).

The only problem we had was that the battery would never charge above about 90%, so the battery charge indicator would never go green. Even with that, it still would run 8+ hours!! After about a month of use, the battery did start charging to 100% (and the indicator turns green now).

I looked at several other models and almost bought the Best Buy version of this Eee PC – DON’T! The Best Buy model seems to use a smaller battery and still costs the same or more than Amazon.

If you need a netbook, this is one of the best.
